Ashes

just wanted to make a speedpaint of what's around me... and dude, that effing volcano is teh vedette of the moment C8

also. first self-insert. ever xD. i never had such thing as a 'sona and the guy on this image is, well, good (?) ol' Agu . BURIED IN CLOTHES, yes yes. that's how you'd see me these days: hooded jacket with fake fur in the edges, same for the boots, and a scarf covering my mouth and nose as i walk in the streets xD (one way or the other, the only month in which i virtually never wear a scarf is February... because even January has its chilly periods. but, my scarf usually doesn't cover my mouth... these are special moments. my hair is cherry red (dyed), but i wanted it in tone with the rest of the image. really, when it's fresh everything looks everything GRAY, very white-gray, but i wanted to add the color of the plume that crosses the sky, which is a yellowish color.
the tree next to me is a Sorbus aucuparia... these trees are everywhere in our streets (as ornamentals), and may be familiar to my european contacts

in case you are wondering, everything is ok here, we shall only take care and the city is... well, dirty. xD but nothing catasthrophic!. however, the media had been exagerating alooooooooot the situation, and really made me want to draw the plume, like a menacing presence, somewhat "alive" and personified, threatening the city from above... i'll see if i can get that right C:

and yes. i don't just like to draw animals, there's too much of charms around them and we should not ignore them ^^
