Silent call

a small birthday gift for a big art block has hit me and in these cases, i sometimes play with people's characters (in this case, Burnaby and Zimbra) and see what turns out. i really wanted to do a detailed painting, but nothing turns out as i'd like, so for the moment, i'll upload this, hope you like it i'll do the actual B-day pic once i'm able to draw again (it's true i was working in the ref sheets, but these were previously sketched )

the image was vaguely inspired in Begotten and was initially B&W, but i thought it was too simplistic so i added some colour i actually adore B&W, it's just i can't nail it yet. not to mention i'm again feeling weak about colors
