I hated making this painting, for some reason. Next one is finished and will be uploaded sometime next week. It's more interesting too

The sun had barely arose, the new Summer day already promising to be as hot as the previous. Arandu awoke with no delay, decided to explore that place in the rainforest further. She had arrived there the previous day in the evening, and it seemed interesting. It was a big portion of jungle crossed by a wide rive and multiple streams, a thick green mass raising all around their shores.

“So this is a good as a New Territory could possibly be”

“Good morning!” a cheery voice came from below. The harpy eagle lowered her head, to find a giant anteater waving his long-clawed left hand at her.

“Good morning” She replied, out of politeness.

“Pardon my indiscretion, I just have never seen a raptor this big, you are quite impressive, Lady!” the edentate said tilting his head.

Arandu raised an eyebrow with interest. “So, you have never seen any other of my species around here?”

“No other like you” the giant anteater shook his head to either side, his hanging tongue comically extending the movement.

“Is that so, then.” The Harpy eagle looked around, contemplating the place once more.
“Good to find a place I can call Home”

El sol apenas se había asomado, y el día ya prometía ser tan caluroso como el anterior. Arandu no demoró en abandonar su sueño, decidida a explorar ésa parte de la selva. Había llegado el día anterior al anochecer, y parecía interesante. Se trataba de una gran extensión selvática, atravesada por un ancho río y numerosos arroyos, unja muy densa masa verde elevándose a una gran altura en sus orillas.

“Éste lugar está tan bueno como podría estarlo”

“Buenos días!” una voz alegre vino desde abajo. El águila arpía bajó la cabeza, para encontrar a un oso hormiguero gigante sacudiendo su pata izquierda, en un saludo con de monstruosas garras.

“Buenos días” respondió ella, por mera amabilidad.

“Perdone mi indiscreción… es que nunca había visto a un ave tan grande. Usted señora, me impresionó mucho!” comento el edentado inclinando la cabeza.

Arandu levantó una ceja, con interés. “Así que, jamás has visto a una de mi especie por aquí?”

“Nadie como usted, no” el oso hormiguero sacudió la cabeza, su larga lengua colgante proyectando cómicamente el movimiento.

“En ése caso, estoy hecha” El águila arpía miró alrededor, contemplando el área una vez más.

“Es bueno encontrar un lugar al que puedo llamar hogar”
