I got a visit from Awka herself! -Huemul sighting- Last Monday, October 17th around 19pm, I managed to see - and document!- a huemul near El Chaltén: I was beyond lucky to get this sighting, since huemul are notoriously hard to see. When reporting it to the National park (since huemul are seriously endangered), I was told this one is a sub-adult female who recently left her parents. So yeah, wanted to share that. As an avid hiker, and wildlife watcher, this was an amazing experience. The entire trip was a gorgeous string of amazing places and experiences, from start to finish.
I've been getting a few notes, want you all to know I am still alive! And doing fine, just very busy. Sorry to anyone who got worried :heart: Basically, between fulltime work, the reforestation+fauna monitoring project I'm in, and the making of a Zoology course I'll be teaching all through September and October, keeping up with social media has been flat out impossible. I'll also travel mid October. Plus I had to do some home repairs (I swear everything breaks at the same time). I do have completed pages for both Awka and Uninvited, but I feel bad about posting them without responding to comments first, as I've gotten plenty of very insightful ones I want to reply to :) But, life has been very hectic. It's never not hectic, but it's been espcially so lately. Also, lately, what wee free time gaps I get, I've been super in the mood to practise humans, which I've been doing. I'll be back to comics very soon! Thank you all for your patience ^^ Ñire
